Class Description
During the course of a BDSM scene, the brain produces a number of neurochemicals. This discussion-based class will review what happens in your brain during play, and how you can “orchestrate” the chemical reactions to improve the experience for both top and bottom.
There will be an introduction and basic explanation of the more common types of neurochemicals and a brief overview how the brain functions during arousal and within a BDSM scene. Afterward, the class will discuss particular scenarios involving negotiation, aftercare, boundaries, and other factors, considering how neurochemicals influence how we feel about the people we play with.
This class will have the option for online participation. Participants will be welcomed to ask questions and contribute suggestions during and after the presentation.
A list of resources and links will be made available to attendees, including the presentation slides.
